He Delivers

“And the patriarchs, becoming envious, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with him and delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.” —Acts 7:9-10 (NKJV)

Those close to us may do us wrong, but Yahweh is always with us and He is faithful to deliver us out of all our troubles. Psalms 34:17 (NLT) says: The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. In Genesis 50:20, Joseph told his brothers: “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good…” What harm Yahweh allows others to do in your life, He is able to turn around for good. The land of your suffering can become the place of abundant blessings.

For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
