Rescued!

Image
Grace to you and shalom from God our Father and our Lord Yeshua the Messiah— who gave Himself for our sins to rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father— to Him be the glory forever and ever! Amen. — Galatians 1:3-5 (TLV) No matter how chaotic this world becomes, remember, Yeshua has overcome the world. In John 16:33 (NKJV) Yeshua said:  “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” We overcome because He has overcome. “It is finished!” (See John 19:30) You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4 NKJV) For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 5:4-5 NKJV) Be courageous [be confident, be...

The Shelter of His Wings

Image
Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah  — Psalms 61:1-4 (NKJV) Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by. (Psalms 57:1 NKJV) How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. (Psalms 36:7) Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. (Psalms 63:7 NKJV)

The Right Path

Image
Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. — Psalms 25:4-5 (NLT) The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands. (Psalms 25:8-10) He renews our strength. He guides us along right paths, bringing honor to his name. (See Psalms 23:3) May we be humble and teachable. Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn away from evil. (Proverbs 3:5-7) The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” — Psalms 32:8 (NLT)

Trust and Hope in the LORD

Image
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.” — Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NKJV) No matter what season of life you are going through, keep trusting in Yahweh. And keep your hope in Him alive. People may fail you, but our God is faithful and His love never fails. We can always rely on Yahweh to be with us and to deliver us out of all our troubles.

Seek God's Help

Image
Oh, please help us against our enemies, for all human help is useless. With God’s help we will do mighty things, for he will trample down our foes. — Psalm 60:11-12 (NLT) Behold, God is my helper and ally; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul [my upholder]. (Psalms 54:4 AMP) In my distress [when I seemed surrounded] I called upon the LORD and cried to my God for help; He heard my voice from His temple, and my cry for help came before Him, into His very ears. (Psalms 18:6 AMP) Call upon the name of Yahweh. He is a very present help in trouble. How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in Yahweh his God, (Psalms 146:5 LSB). Through God we shall do valiantly, and it is He who will tread down our adversaries. (Psalms 60:12 LSB) ...thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! (1 Corinthians 15:57)

Enjoy Life

Image
“And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God. God keeps such people so busy enjoying life that they take no time to brood over the past.” — Ecclesiastes 5:19-20 (NLT) Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. (1 Timothy 6:17 NKJV) Instead of brooding over the past, take the steps today that are headed in the direction of where you want to be tomorrow. However, the reality is you have no idea where your life will take you tomorrow. You are like a mist that appears one moment and then vanishes another. (See James 4:14 VOICE) But those who die in the LORD will live; their bodies will rise again! Those who sleep in the earth will rise up and sing for joy! For your life-giving light will fall like dew on your people in the place of the dead! (Isaiah 26:19 ...

Not of this World

Image
“You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. Do you think the Scriptures have no meaning? They say that God is passionate that the spirit he has placed within us should be faithful to him.” — James 4:4-5 (NLT) Do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs… (See Romans 12:2 AMP) We are in this world but we are not to be of the world. (See John 17:16-18) Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. (See John 1:11 LSB) Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children, (Ephesians 5:1). Be faithful to Yahweh and worship only Him. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world [wealth, fame, success], but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:26 AMP) “ Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hear...

He is With You

Image
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be in dread or be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9 (LSB) But now, thus says Yahweh, your Creator, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you.” (Isaiah 43:1-2 LSB) Wherever you go today, remember Yahweh is with you. He is the great “I AM,” Creator of heaven and earth, the God Most High, above everything and everyone. No need to be afraid or dismayed. “The LORD your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.”   — Zephaniah 3:17 (NASB1995)

Choose Life

Image
“So now, Israel, what does Yahweh your God ask from you, but to fear Yahweh your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of Yahweh and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good?” — Deuteronomy 10:12-13 (LSB) “See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, which I am commanding you today; and the curse, if you do not listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, but turn aside from the way which I am commanding you today, by walking after other gods which you have not known.” (Deuteronomy 11:26-28 LSB)  …the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it. (See Deuteronomy 30:14) I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your...

Nothing Too Difficult

Image
“‘Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,” — Jeremiah 32:17 (LSB) When I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me? (Psalms 56:3-4) …I shall call upon God, and Yahweh will save me. Evening and morning and at noon, I will bring my complaint and moan, and He will hear my voice. He will redeem my soul in peace from the battle which is against me, for they are many who strive with me. (See Psalms 55:16-18 LSB) Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. (Psalms 54:4 NASB1995) I will give thanks to Your name, O Yahweh, for it is good. For you have rescued me from my troubles and helped me to triumph over my enemies. (See Psalms 54:6-7 LSB/NLT) Hallelujah! And amen.

Serve

Image
But the greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted. — Matthew 23:11-12 (NASB1995) The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way. (Psalms 25:9 NKJV) Humble yourselves [with an attitude of repentance and insignificance] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up, He will give you purpose]. (James 4:10 AMP)  “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45 NLT) Let us consider how we may serve others each and every day.  A man’s pride and sense of self-importance will bring him down, but he who has a humble spirit will obtain honor. — Proverbs 29:23 (AMP)

Be An Active Doer

Image
“But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.” — James 1:22-24 (NLT) In Luke 11:28 (AMP), Yeshua said, “…blessed (happy, favored by God) are those who hear the word of God and continually observe it.” …he who looks carefully into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and faithfully abides by it, not having become a [careless] listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he will be blessed and favored by God in what he does [in his life of obedience]. (James 1:25 AMP)

Take Refuge

Image
For you have made Yahweh—my refuge, the Most High—your dwelling place. No evil will befall you, and no plague will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone. — Psalms 91:9-12 (LSB) This poor man called out, and Yahweh heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. O taste and see that Yahweh is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! Psalms 34:6-8 LSB) Take refuge in the Most High, at all times.

Peace at ALL Times

Image
Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all. — 2 Thessalonians 3:16 (AMP) Don’t be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come. And know that the peace of God (a peace that is beyond any and all of our human understanding) will stand watch over your hearts and minds in Jesus, the Anointed One. (Philippians 4:6-7 VOICE) “If you bow low in God’s awesome presence, he will eventually exalt you as you leave the timing in his hands. Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:6-7 TPT)

Give Thanks

Image
“Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God, and keep the vows you made to the Most High.” — Psalms 50:14 (NLT) In Psalms 50:23 (NLT), GOD says: “…giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.” It is good to give thanks to Yahweh and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; (Psalms 92:1 LSB) Therefore I will give thanks to You among the nations, O Yahweh, and I will sing praises to Your name. (Psalms 18:49 LSB) Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! (Psalms 107:21 NKJV) ...in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 AMP)

Walk in His Ways

Image
“You shall not do according to what is done in the land of Egypt where you lived, nor are you to do according to what is done in the land of Canaan where I am bringing you; you shall not walk in their statutes. You are to do My judgments and keep My statutes, to walk in them; I am Yahweh your God. So you shall keep My statutes and My judgments, which if a man does them, he shall live by them; I am Yahweh.” — Leviticus 18:3-5 (LSB) We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. (1 John 5:19 NKJV) We are not to imitate the ways of the world. Instead, we are to follow the ways of Yahweh and His Kingdom. Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God. (3 John 11 NASB1995)

No Favoritism

Image
Peter said, “Now I know for certain that God doesn’t show favoritism with people but treats everyone on the same basis. It makes no difference what race of people one belongs to. If they show deep reverence for God, and are committed to doing what’s right, they are acceptable before him.” — Acts 10:34-35 (TPT) My fellow believers, do not practice your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of partiality [toward people—show no favoritism, no prejudice, no snobbery]. (James 2:1 AMP) Let us be like our Heavenly Father and not show partiality to any person. Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!) Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who fears the LORD [with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with obedience], who delights greatly in His commandments. (Psalms 112:1 AMP) God blesses us, and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him [with awe-inspired reverence and submissive wonder]. (Psalms 67:7 AMP) When all has been heard, the end of the matter is: f...

The Promise Keeper

Image
God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not establish it? — Numbers 23:19 (LSB) God cannot lie. (See Titus 1:2) He is the Promise Keeper. He is faithful to fulfill every promise He has spoken. Yahweh watches over His Word to perform it. In Isaiah 55:10-11 (NKJV) He says: “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” When we stand on the Word of God we are standing on solid and unchangeable ground. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever. (Isaiah 40:8 NKJV)

Cease Striving

Image
“Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Yahweh of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah. — Psalms 46:10-11 (LSB) God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], a very present and well-proved help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken and slip into the heart of the seas, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its roaring. Selah. (Psalms 46:1-3 AMP)  I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from Yahweh, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to stumble; He who keeps you will not slumber. (Psalms 121:1-3 LSB) “Yahweh himself will watch over you; he’s always at your side to shelter you safely in his presence.” (Psalms 121:5 TPT)

Direct Me

Image
“Direct me, Yahweh, throughout my journey so I can experience your plans for my life. Reveal the life-paths that are pleasing to you.” — Psalms 25:4 (TPT) We can tire ourselves out trying to figure out how to handle a difficult situation, or which way to go. This can lead to anxiety, worry and weariness. Instead, focus your attention on Yahweh, our great and awesome God, and yield to His will. He knows every detail of our lives and He already has a solution to every problem, an answer for every question, and a way of escape for every temptation. And with God nothing will be impossible. (See Luke 1:37) Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21 AMP)

Push Through

Image
“You are my God, my King! It’s now time to decree majesties for Jacob! Through your glorious name and your awesome power, we can push through to any victory and defeat every enemy. For I will not trust in the weapons of the world; I know they will never save me. Only you will be our Savior from all our enemies. All those who hate us you have brought to shame.” — Psalms 44:4-7 (TPT) The LORD is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident. (Psalms 27:1-3 NLT) “No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.” (Romans 8:37 NLT) In God we have boasted all day long, and we will give thanks to Your name forever. Selah. — Psalms 44:8 (NASB1995)

Faithful to Forgive

Image
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.  — 1 John 1:9-10 (NKJV) Yahweh is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, and He has not rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalms 103:8, 10-12 LSB) Therefore repent and return to Yahweh, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; (See Acts 3:19)

A Place Prepared

Image
“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” — John 14:1-3 (NASB1995) You do not know what will happen tomorrow. For your life is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. (See James 4:14 NKJV) But we do have the blessed assurance from our Savior and King, Immanuel (translated “God with us”), that He has a place prepared for us. And whatever situations and circumstances we face in this life, Yeshua says, “do let your heart be troubled.” For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. (Romans 8:18 NASB1995) Yet I still belong to you;  you hold my right hand.  You guide me with your counsel,  le...

Thirst for God

Image
As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God? — Psalms 42:1-2 (NASB1995) Today, we have the pleasure, privilege, and honor of humbly offering ourselves to Yahweh at all times. Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment]. (Hebrews 4:16 AMP) O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. — Psalms 63:1 (NASB1995)

He Lifts Us Up

Image
“I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.” — Psalms 40:1-2 (NLT) When we find ourselves in a pit of any kind, we can count on Yahweh to lift us up and out. When you cry out to Him, He is faithful to answer. He will turn your mourning into joyful dancing. He will take away your clothes of mourning and clothe you with joy... (See Psalms 30:11 NLT). He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear and will trust in Yahweh. How blessed is the man who has made Yahweh his trust, and has not turned to the proud, nor to those who stray into falsehood. (Psalms 40:3-4 LSB) “O LORD my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal . If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.” (Psalms 40:5...

Passing Through

Image
Hear my prayer, O LORD! Listen to my cries for help! Don’t ignore my tears. For I am your guest— a traveler passing through, as my ancestors were before me. — Psalms 39:12 (NLT) “LORD, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered— how fleeting my life is. You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath.” Interlude (Psalms 39:4-5 NLT) So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT) Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the ear...

He Sustains You

Image
Cast your burden on the LORD [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you;
He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail). — Psalms 55:22 (AMP) Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. (Psalms 54:4 NASB1995) I lay down and slept; I awoke, for Yahweh sustains me. (Psalms 3:5 LSB) He is the burden-bearer, our strength and our support. He will carry the weight, so we don’t have to. Why carry the weight of your burdens when Yahweh is willing and able? Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God... casting ALL your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. (See 1 Peter 5:6-7 AMP) By You I have been sustained from my birth; You are He who took me from my mother’s womb; My praise is continually of You. (Psalms 71:6 NASB1995) Sustain me according to Your word, that I may live; And do not let me be as...

Commit Everything

Image
Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. — Psalms 37:5-6 (NLT) Day by day the LORD takes care of the innocent, and they will receive an inheritance that lasts forever. They will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine they will have more than enough. (Psalms 37:18-19) Commit all your plans to Yahweh and He will guide you along the best pathway for your life. (See Psalms 32:8) The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. (Psalms 37:23) May we follow the direction of Yahweh, taking each step in faith. Trust Him, at all times and in every situation. Turn from evil and do good, and you will live in the land forever. For the LORD loves justice, and he will never abandon the godly... (See Psalms 37:27-28) The LORD rescues the godly; he is their fortress in times of trouble. The LORD helps them, rescuing...

His Lovingkindness

Image
How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; And You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light. — Psalms 36:7-9 (NASB1995) Your lovingkindness and graciousness, O LORD, extend to the skies, Your faithfulness [reaches] to the clouds. (Psalms 36:5 AMP) O continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You, and Your righteousness to the upright in heart. (Psalms 36:10 NASB1995) It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night, (Psalms 92:1-2 NKJV) Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise You. (Psalms 63:3 NASB1995) The LORD will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me— a prayer to the God of my life. — Psalms 42:...

Be Transformed

Image
Then the LORD said to Moses, “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. I am the LORD your God. So do not act like the people in Egypt, where you used to live, or like the people of Canaan, where I am taking you. You must not imitate their way of life.” — Leviticus 18:1-3 (NLT) God's people were never to imitate the world and the culture around us. Romans 12:2 (AMP) says: And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. We are members of God's family and citizens of the Kingdom of God. As ambassadors, may all we do and say reflect the nature of our heavenly Father, and the culture of His Kingdom.

Look to Him

Image
I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. In my desperation I prayed, and the LORD listened; he saved me from all my troubles. — Psalms 34:4-6 (NLT) So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT) Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Fear the LORD, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing. (Psalms 34:8-10 NLT) The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. The righteous person f...

Our Hope & Our Help

Image
“ We put our hope in the LORD. He is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. Let your unfailing love surround us, LORD, for our hope is in you alone. ” — Psalms 33:20-22 (NLT) Sing for joy in Yahweh, O righteous ones; Praise is becoming to the upright. (Psalms 33:1 LSB) He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the lovingkindness of Yahweh. (Psalms 33:5 LSB) …the LORD’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken. (See Psalms 33:11 NLT) Human strength and the weapons of man are false hopes for victory; they may seem mighty, but they will always disappoint. (Psalms 33:17 TPT) But the LORD watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine. (Psalms 33:18-19 NLT) The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even foreverm...

He Guides

The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.” — Psalms 32:8-9 (NLT) Psalms 23:3 (NASB1995) says, He guides us in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. And His Spirit will guide us into all truth. (See John 16:13)  Wherever Yahweh directs us to go, we can be certain that it is the best pathway for our lives. In Jeremiahs 29:11 He says: “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Only He knows the plans, let us be obedient and follow the plan as He reveals it to us. The Father knows best. Nevertheless I am continually with You; You have taken hold of my right hand. With Your counsel You will guide me, and afterward receive me to glory. — Psalms 73:23-24 (NASB1995)

Great is His Goodness

Image
“How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.” — Psalms 31:19 (NLT) Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He teaches sinners in the way. The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way. (Psalms 25:8-9 NKJV) He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. (Psalms 33:5 NKJV) Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness. (Psalms 107:8-9 NKJV) The goodness of God endures continually. (See Psalms 52:1) He is ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon Him. (See Psalms 86:5) O love the LORD, all you His godly ones! The LORD preserves the faithful [those with moral and spiritual integrity] and fully repays the [self-righteousness of the] arrogant. — Psalms...

All Things Possible

Image
You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have taken off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever. — Psalms 30:11-12 (AMP) Yahweh turns situations and circumstances around. He turns our mourning into dancing. In Exodus 15:23-25, the LORD made the bitter waters sweet, providing water for His people to drink. In 2 Samuel 22:29 (NLT), He is our lamp, Who lights up our darkness. God can cause you to be fruitful and very successful in the land of your suffering and affliction. (See Genesis 41:52) The Father raises the dead and gives life to them. (See John 5:21) “...With God all things are possible.” (See Mark 10:27) Let us praise Him and give thanks to Him forever.

He Gives Strength

Image
Yahweh sat enthroned over the flood; Indeed, Yahweh sits as King forever. Yahweh will give strength to His people; Yahweh will bless His people with peace. — Psalms 29:10-11 (LSB) The LORD is the strength of my life. (See Psalms 27:1 NKJV) When you grow weary, know that He is the strength of the righteous, in the time of trouble. (See Psalms 37:39 NKJV) Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ ” (Isaiah 12:2 NKJV) Trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength. (Isaiah 26:4 NKJV) Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD. (Psalms 31:24 NKJV) Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore! — Psalms 105:4 (NKJV)

Rejoice & Be Glad

Image
This is the day which Yahweh has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalms 118:24 (LSB) “Do not be grieved, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength.” (See Nehemiah 8:10 LSB) In 2 Corinthians 7:4 (AMP), the Apostle Paul says: “I am overflowing with joy in spite of all our trouble.” We can choose joy in all circumstances, knowing that our heavenly Father is working for our good. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning. (Psalms 30:5 NASB1995) Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in Yahweh, lovingkindness shall surround him. Be glad in Yahweh and rejoice, you righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart. (Psalms 32:10-11 LSB) I will rejoice and be glad in Your lovingkindness, because You have seen my affliction; You have known the troubles of my soul, and You have not given me over into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a large place. ...

"Don't Give Up!"

Image
“Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you!” — Psalms 27:14 (TPT) Endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. (See 2 Timothy 2:3) He who endures to the end shall be saved. (See Matthew 24:13) God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12 NLT) For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18 NKJV) No need to be impatient. Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NASB1995) says: There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven. After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace [who imparts His blessing and favor], who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will...

Set Your Mind

Image
But turning around [with His back to Peter] and seeing His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, “Get behind Me, Satan; for your mind is not set on God’s will or His values and purposes, but on what pleases man.” — Mark 8:33 (AMP) May we set our mind on the things of God and seek to please our Heavenly Father instead of man. Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value]. (Colossians 3:2 AMP) For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (Romans 8:5-6 NKJV)

Put Your Hope in Him

Image
Make me know Your ways, O Yahweh; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; In You I hope all the day. — Psalms 25:4-5 (LSB) No matter what you are going through, keep your hope in the living, all-powerful Almighty GOD. He will show you the path of life; in His presen ce is fullness of joy; At His right hand are pleasures forevermore. (See Psalms 16:11 NKJV) I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living. Hope in Yahweh; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Hope in Yahweh. (Psalms 27:13-14 LSB)

The King of Glory

Image
Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty,
the LORD mighty in battle. — Psalms 24:7-8 (NKJV) King Yeshua, stands at the door and knocks. He says: “If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (See Revelation 3:20) Open the door of your heart to Him, today. Dine with Him daily. The LORD is righteous in all His ways, gracious in all His works. The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. (Psalms 145:17-18) All Your works shall praise You, O LORD, and Your saints shall bless You. They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom, and talk of Your power, to make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of His kingdom. — Psalms 145:10-12 (NKJV)

A Father’s Help

Image
“But in the depths of my heart I truly know that you, Yahweh, have become my Shield; You take me and surround me with yourself. Your glory covers me continually. You lift high my head. I have cried out to you, Yahweh, from your holy presence. You send me a Father’s help. Pause in his presence” — Psalms 3:3-4 (TPT) As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. (Psalms 125:2 NASB1995) He is a shield to all who trust in Him. (See Psalms 18:30 NKJV) …the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. (2 Thessalonians 3:3 NASB1995) Lift up your eyes to the hills— from whence comes our help. Our help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (See Psalms 121:1-2 NKJV) “Yahweh himself will watch over you; he’s always at your side to shelter you safely in his presence.” (Psalms 121:5 TPT)

Yahweh-Nissi, Our Banner

Image
Moses built an altar there and named it Yahweh-Nissi (which means “the LORD is my banner”). — Exodus 17:15 (NLT) In Exodus 17:9-13, Moses stood at the top of the hill holding up the staff in his hands, while Joshua fought the army of Amalek. As long as Moses held up the staff in his hand, the Israelites had the advantage. Eventually, Aaron and Hur stood on each side of Moses and held his hands steady until sunset. As a result, Joshua overwhelmed the army of Amalek in battle. Yahweh-Nissi is our banner of victory. He delivers and He saves. May we yield our hearts and lift our hands up to Him. With the full armor of God on, we are able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. (See Ephesians 6:10-11) Yahweh always leads us in triumph in Christ. (See 2 Corinthians 2:14) God gives us victory against the flesh, the world, the devil and death. As Yeshua said in John 19:30, “ It is finished! ” O clap your hands, all you people; Shout to God with the voice of triumph and songs of joy. Fo...

The LORD Reigns!

Image
“The LORD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him— my father’s God, and I will exalt him! The LORD is a warrior; Yahweh is his name!” “The LORD will reign forever and ever!” — Exodus 15:2-3, 15:18 (NLT) In all of our trials and tribulations, we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. (See Romans 8:37 AMP) Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. May Yahweh give you the strength to run with endurance the race that is set before you. Finish the course, and keep the faith. (See 1 Timothy 6:12, 2 Timothy 4:7 & Hebrews 12:1) “Who is like you among the gods, O LORD— glorious in holiness, awesome in splendor, performing great wonders?” — Exodus 15:11 (NLT)

Rise Up!

Image
“Some find their strength in their weapons and wisdom, but my miracle-deliverance can never be won by men. Our boast is in Yahweh our God, who makes us strong and gives us victory! Our enemies will not prevail; they will only collapse and perish in defeat while we will rise up, full of courage.” — Psalms 20:7-8 (TPT) As followers of Yeshua, we are a chosen people. We are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession… (See 1 Peter 2:9) Rise up for the battle is the LORD’s, and He has already given us the victory. “In times of trouble, may the LORD answer your cry. May the name of the God of Jacob keep you safe from all harm. May he send you help from his sanctuary and strengthen you from Jerusalem. May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. May the LORD answer all your prayers.” (Psalms 20:1-2 & 4-5 NLT)

New Every Morning

Image
“ This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. The LORD’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. ” — Lamentations 3:21-23 (NASB1995) It is through the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed. He is a gracious and merciful GOD, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness. The Word says: His compassions NEVER fail. They are fresh and brand new every single morning. At the dawn of each new day, let us have hope as we remember the lovingkindness of Yahweh is being poured out upon us. Even when we are not faithful, He remains faithful. His loyal and unfailing love endures forever. May we declare His lovingkindness in the morning, and His faithfulness every night. (See Psalms 92:2 NKJV) Keep your hope in Him alive and expect great things from our Mighty GOD. I tell my soul, “Yahweh is my abundant portion. I need nothing more. So, I will put all my hope in him.” (Lamentations 3:24 TPT)  The LORD has...

Bless the Name of YAHWEH

Image
And God said to Moses, “I am Yahweh—‘the LORD.’ I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty’—but I did not reveal my name, Yahweh, to them.” — Exodus 6:2-3 (NLT) In Exodus 3:15 (NLT) God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: Yahweh, the God of your ancestors—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you. This is my eternal name, my name to remember for all generations.” Our help is in the name of Yahweh, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalms 124:8 LSB) He is El-Shaddai, the all-sufficient, all-bountiful, Almighty GOD, the source of all life and blessings. He is all-powerful. None of our troubles are too big for Him to handle. The name of Yahweh is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is set securely on high. (Proverbs 18:10 LSB)  I will give thanks to Yahweh according to His righteousness
and will sing praise to the name of Yahweh Most High. (Psalms 7:17 LSB) Some boast in chariots and some in ho...

Better to Fear God

Image
Then Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, gave this order to the Hebrew midwives, Shiphrah and Puah: “When you help the Hebrew women as they give birth, watch as they deliver. If the baby is a boy, kill him; if it is a girl, let her live.” But because the midwives feared God, they refused to obey the king’s orders. They allowed the boys to live, too.” — Exodus 1:15-17 (NLT) It is better to fear God rather than man. “The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe.” (Proverbs 29:25 NKJV) So God was good to the midwives, and the Israelites continued to multiply, growing more and more powerful. And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own.” (Exodus 1:20-21 NLT) Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples. For great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. — Psalms 96:3-4 (NASB1995)

Our Refuge

Image
Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to you for refuge. I said to the LORD, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.” — Psalms 16:1-2 (NLT) “Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.” (Psalms 73:25-26 NLT) “LORD, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine.” (Psalms 16:5) “I will bless the LORD who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.” (Psalms 16:7-8 NLT) Take refuge in YAHWEH.  For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD bestows grace and favor and honor; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. — Psalms 84:11 (AMP)

Keep Coming Closer

Image
“ But I’ll keep coming closer and closer to you, Lord YAHWEH, for your name is good to me. I’ll keep telling the world of your awesome works, my faithful and glorious God! ” — Psalms 73:28 (TPT) In Isaiah 29:13 (NASB1995), the Lord said, “…this people draw near with their words and honor Me with their lip service, but they remove their Ghearts far from Me, and their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote…” Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. (See Hebrews 10:22 NASB1995) “Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you. But make sure you cleanse your life, you sinners, and keep your heart pure and stop doubting.” James (Jacob) 4:8 (TPT) But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge and placed my trust in Him, that I may tell of all Your works. — Psalms 73:28 (AMP)
