A Place Prepared

“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” —John 14:1-3 (NASB1995)

You do not know what will happen tomorrow. For your life is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. (See James 4:14 NKJV) But we do have the blessed assurance from our Savior and King, Immanuel (translated “God with us”), that He has a place prepared for us. And whatever situations and circumstances we face in this life, Yeshua says, “do let your heart be troubled.” For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. (Romans 8:18 NASB1995)

Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. —Psalms 73:23-24 (NLT)

Patient Endurance

“ So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. ” — Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT) Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. (Hebrews 10:23) Hebrews 10:37-38 (NLT)  says: “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.” (Hebrews 10:39 NLT) We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. Don't Drift
