Greater Joy!

Many people say, “Who will show us better times?” Let your face smile on us, LORD. You have given me greater joy than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine. —Psalms 4:6-7 (NLT)

Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! (Psalms 34:8 NLT) Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. (Psalms 34:5 NLT) There is no greater delight than the fullness of joy we are able to experience in the glorious Presence of our mighty GOD. His lovingkindness is better than life and it endures forever. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39 NLT) How great is the goodness He has stored up for those who fear Him. He lavishes it on those who come to Him for protection, blessing them before the watching world. (See Psalms 31:19 NLT)

You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever. —Psalms 16:11 (NLT)

Patient Endurance

(Hebrews 10:23) Hebrews 10:37-38 (NLT)  says: “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.” (Hebrews 10:39 NLT) We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need.
