God With Us

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.” —Matthew 1:23 (NASB1995)

We are never alone. God is always with us. And with the Lord on our side, who can stand against us? In 2 Timothy 4:16-17, the Apostle Paul says, at his first trial no one supported him. Everyone abandoned him. But, he says, the Lord stood with Him and gave him strength. If every person who says they have your back, deserts you, know that God is with you. No matter what kind of situation you face, look to see God at work and seek His wisdom and guidance. The Apostle Paul goes on to say: Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen. (2 Timothy 4:18 NLT) He will do the same for you.

Be Captivated by Christ
