Fear the LORD
But the LORD watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine. —Psalms 33:18-19 (NLT)
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. (See Proverbs 9:10 & 3:7) “For the eyes of the Lord Yahweh rest upon the godly, and his heart responds to their prayers. But he turns his back on those who practice evil.” (1 Peter 3:12 TPT) Let all the earth fear Yahweh; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. (Psalms 33:8 LSB) Great is the LORD! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared above all gods. (Psalms 96:4 NLT) Honor Yahweh with a humble heart and awe-inspired reverence.
Not only are the eyes of the LORD on those who fear Him, Psalms 34:7 (NASB1995) says: The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. O [reverently] fear the LORD, you His saints (believers, holy ones); For to those who fear Him there is no want. (Psalms 34:9 AMP) Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways. (Psalms 128:1 NKJV)
