More Than Conquerors
O give us help against the adversary, for deliverance by man is in vain. Through God we shall do valiantly, and it is He who will tread down our adversaries. —Psalms 60:1-2 (NASB1995)
Here on earth we will have many trials, temptations and sorrows. Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything! (Romans 8:37 TPT) Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. (Psalm 34:19 NASB1995) God arms us with strength for the battle and subdues our enemies under our feet. (See Psalms 18:39 NLT) And with each and every temptation He also makes a way of escape, that we may be able overcome it. (See 1 Corinthians 10:13) Let us thank God for giving us the victory as conquerors through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. (See 1 Corinthians 15:57 TPT) He not only gives us victory over our enemies, but over sin and death as well.
