Choose to Rejoice
Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive fails and the fields produce no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the LORD; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! —Habakkuk 3:17-18 (AMP)
The enemy would have us to focus on the negative in any situation. Instead of looking at what we have, he will highlight what is lacking. But we must look at our circumstances with eyes of faith. The righteous shall live by faith and not by sight. Knowing that nothing is too difficult for Yahweh. He is bigger than the balance of your bank account. He is more powerful than any political party or government official. His supply is abundant and He is extremely generous. Our God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (See Philippians 4:19) Yahweh is a faithful Father, and a Promise Keeper. He fulfills every Word He has spoken. With God, all things are possible. Amen. Make a choice to rejoice in our great and mighty, Everlasting God, no matter how things may appear.
