Rely Upon Our God!

“Who among you fears the LORD?
Who obeys the voice of His Servant?
Who walks in darkness
 And has no light?
 Let him trust in the name of the LORD
And rely upon his God.”
Isaiah 50:10 (NKJV)

Stop putting your trust in man and trust in the name of the LORD. When you receive that negative doctor's report, realize that the doctor has no authority over your life. Trust in the One that holds the power over life and death. Do not fear the words of the bill collectors or the IRS, and stop looking at the things you can see. Instead fix your eyes on Jesus, and stand on the living Word of God. That is the final answer and the highest authority in your life. Amen.

Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy.
