Come to Worship

Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” Matthew 2:1-2 (NKJV)

Wise men and women still seek the King of kings and the Lord of lords, each and every day. They acknowledge the fact that He is Christ, the Son of the living God. (See Matthew 26:63) In Revelation 1:8, Jesus says:  “I am the Alpha and the Omega, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! (See John 1:29). “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” (See Revelation 5:12 NKJV)

In Matthew 2:11, when the wise men had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. May we humble ourselves, bow down and worship Yeshua and keep Him first in our hearts and minds. Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision; for we are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh, (Philippians 3:2-3 NASB1995)
