Got Peace?

“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33 (NASB1995)

Jesus said; we “may” have peace. What will bring about this peace or lack of it? What we choose to give our attention to is the deciding factor. If our thoughts are problem-centered, frustration, anxiety and fear will follow. As we focus on God's Presence with us, we will experience peace. Isaiah 26:3 (AMP) says, the LORD will keep in perfect and constant peace the one who’s mind is committed and focused on Him.

Philippians 4:6 (NLT) says: Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Basically, cast all your cares upon the LORD, and be thankful. As you put this verse into action, Philippians 4:7 (NLT) says: Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. As we abide in Christ, His peace will guard our hearts, and we will continually experience the peace of God, regardless of the circumstances.

And now may God, who gives us his peace, be with you all. Amen. Romans 15:33 (NLT)
