Called Out

…you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; —1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)

We were formerly darkness, but now we are Light in the Lord. Let us walk as children of Light. (See Ephesians 5:8) God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. (See 1 John 1:5) So do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness. Be imitators of God, as beloved children. (Ephesians 5:1) …let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. (Romans 13:12b)  And proclaim the wondrous acts of the One who called us out of inky darkness into shimmering light. (See 1 Peter 2:9 VOICE)

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” —John 8:12 (NASB1995)

We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
