Yours is the Day

Yours is the day, Yours also is the night; You have prepared the light and the sun. You have established all the boundaries of the earth; You have made summer and winter. —Psalm 74:16-17 (NASB1995)

This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24) God is Lord of heaven and earth. He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things. He determined our appointed times and the boundaries of our habitation. His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find Him—though he is not far from any one of us. (See Acts 17:24-27) 

Trust in the living God, Who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let us give thanks to the LORD and sing praises to His name, the God Most High. Declare His lovingkindness in the morning and His faithfulness by night. (See Psalm 92:1-2)

For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy.
