Come & Drink
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life. —Revelation 22:17 (NLT)
The call to come to Jesus is an ongoing invitation. Coming to Jesus is not a one time event. We must continually come to Him, each and every day, and submit our lives to Him in daily devotion. He gives to us freely: life, freedom, peace, etc. In Matthew 16:24 (NKJV), Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” He invites all to come to Him. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. This water of life proceeds from the throne of God and of the Lamb. (See Revelation 22:1) The water He gives will become in us a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life. (See John 4:14 NKJV)
“Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy grain and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost [simply accept it as a gift from God].” —Isaiah 55:1 (AMP)
