Manna for Your Morning

Let my soul be at rest again, for the LORD has been good to me. He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. And so I walk in the LORD’s presence as I live here on earth! — Psalms 116:7-9 (NLT) Psalms 139:7-10 (NLT) says: “I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me.” May we be mindful of the LORD’s Presence. His nearness is for our good. He leads us and guides us along on the path of life. He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus the Christ. (See 1 Corinthians 15:57) His Presence gives us strength, comfort, and confidence.  What shall I render to the LORD for all His benefits toward me? I will take up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD. — Psalms 116:12-13 (NKJV)

…Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, doesn’t it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me.” But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.” — Luke 10:40-42 (NLT) Don’t let the cares and events of this world keep you busy and distracted from the primary thing worth pursuing, time with King Yeshua, the Living Word. Be like Mary and sit at the Lord’s feet, listening to His teaching. (See Luke 10:39 NLT) Jesus said: “...one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:42 NKJV) Make a dedicated decision, every day, to choose that “good part.”

“The seeds on the rocky soil represent those who hear the message and receive it with joy. But since they don’t have deep roots, they believe for a while, then they fall away when they face temptation. The seeds that fell among the thorns represent those who hear the message, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life. And so they never grow into maturity.” — Luke 8:13-14 (NLT) Don’t let the cares and pleasures of this life, nor the desire for riches choke the living Word out of you. May we receive the seed, which is God’s word (See Luke 8:11), on good, fertile soil. “…the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God’s word, cling to it, and patiently produce a huge harvest.” (Luke 8:15 NLT)

“I love the LORD because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!” — Psalms 116:1-2 (NLT) How kind the LORD is! How good he is! So merciful, this God of ours! (Psalms 116:5 NLT) This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:21-23 NKJV) All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort.  The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. (Psalms 145:18 NKJV) Call upon Him today. He hears your voice and is faithful to answer.

“When the devil had finished every temptation, he left Him until an opportune time.” — Luke 4:13 (NASB1995) Remember, we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. (See Ephesians 6:12) Our adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. He is always looking for an opportune time to steal, to kill, and to destroy. Stay alert!  (See 1 Peter 5:8 & John 10:10) When confronted with the lies of the enemy, follow the example of King Yeshua in Luke 4:4, 4:8 & 4:12, and speak what is written in the Holy Scriptures. 

Praise the LORD Praise, O servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD! Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and forevermore! From the rising of the sun to its going down the LORD’s name is to be praised. — Psalms 113:1-3 (NKJV) The LORD is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens. (Psalms 113:4) Everything he does reveals his glory and majesty. His righteousness never fails. (Psalms 111:3 NLT) Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name goes all the glory for your unfailing love and faithfulness. All you who fear the LORD, trust the LORD! He is your helper and your shield. (Psalms 115:1, 11 NLT) May the LORD richly bless both you and your children. (Psalms 115:14 NLT)

Does anyone want to live a life that is long and prosperous? Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies! Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. — Psalms 34:12-14 (NLT) May we bind the deeds of darkness (See Matthew 8:18) Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words. (Proverbs 18:21 AMP) Speak words of life to build up versus beat down. Trust in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. (Psalms 37:3 NASB1995) 

When the righteous cry [for help], the LORD hears and rescues them from all their distress and troubles. The LORD is near to the heartbroken and He saves those who are crushed in spirit (contrite in heart, truly sorry for their sin). Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the LORD rescues him from them all. — Psalms 34:17-19 (AMP) “Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” (Psalms 34:8 NKJV) “All he does is just and good, and all his commandments are trustworthy. They are forever true, to be obeyed faithfully and with integrity.” (Psalms 111:7-8 NLT) No matter what or who confronts you today, remember that Yahweh is good and He delivers the righteous out of all their troubles.

See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we would be called children of God; and we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. — 1 John 3:1 (LSB) In John 16:27, Yeshua says: “…the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father.” Our Heavenly Father, the Creator of Heaven and earth, dearly loves you. He is mindful of you and the good plans He has for you. …may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love, be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; (See Ephesians 3:17-18 AMP).

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” — John 14:27 (NLT) Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. (James 1:17 NLT) And the greatest gift of all is King Yeshua, Prince of Peace, our Savior and Redeemer. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (John 3:17 NKJV) He came that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly. (See John 10:10) In John 16:33 (NKJV), Yeshua said: “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” We are able to overcome this world, because He has already gained the victory for us.  May the perfect peace of Christ calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge. “And many nations will join themselves to Yahweh in that day and will become My people. Then I will dwell in your midst, and you will know that Yahweh of hosts has sent Me to you.” — Zechariah 2:11 (LSB) May we be joined to Yahweh, walking with Him daily, moment by moment. If you have strayed away from Him, repent of your sins now and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah. (See Acts 3:19-20 NLT)  Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord; Nor are there any works like Your works. All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, and shall glorify Your name. For You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God. — Psalms 86:8-10 (NKJV)

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary… — Psalms 107:1-2 (NASB1995) Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness. (Psalms 107:8-9 NKJV) “LORD, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death. (Psalms 107:19-20 NLT)

On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” — John 7:37-38 (NLT) “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money, come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance.” (Isaiah 55:1-2 NKJV) King Yeshua says come and drink. He gives living water.  The LORD will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. — Isaiah 58:11 (NKJV)

Yeshua said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty. But I told you that you have seen Me, yet you do not believe. Everyone the Father gives Me will come to Me, and anyone coming to Me I will never reject. — John 6:35-37 (TLV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah! He chose us in the Messiah before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless before Him in love. (Ephesians 1:4 TLV) We are chosen and accepted by God the Father and the Messiah. King Yeshua will never reject us. He bids us to come to Him. Let us observe all things that He has commanded us. In Matthew 28:20 (TLV), He says: “And remember! I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” — Isaiah 43:2 (NLT) Notice the Word of God says, “ when ” you go through, not “ if ”. In this life, we can be certain, we will go  through some “stuff” but we can be confident that Yahweh is always with us. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. (Psalms 125:2 NKJV) And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (Romans 8:28 NLT) What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us? (Romans 8:31 AMP)

“For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God. For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps,” — 1 Peter 2:20-21 (NASB1995) May we intentionally follow the example of our Savior, King Yeshua. “He never sinned and he never spoke deceitfully. When he was verbally abused, he did not return with an insult; when he suffered, he would not threaten retaliation. Jesus faithfully entrusted himself into the hands of God, who judges righteously.” (1 Peter 2:22-23 TPT) “For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.” (1 Peter 2:25 NASB1995) Closely follow the good Shepherd Who gives His life for the sheep. (See John 10:11 NKJV)

The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.  Let us behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts. — Romans 13:12-14 (NASB1995) For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ, that is, you have taken on His characteristics and values. (Galatians 3:27 NASB1995/AMP) So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. (Colossians 3:12-14 NASB1995)

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” — Matthew 6:33-34 (NKJV) Don’t worry about all the doom and gloom taking place in this world. Don’t let it distract you. First and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) God’s kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right…] (See Matthew 6:33 AMP). In John 16:33 (NKJV), Yeshua said: “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 5:4-5 NKJV)

“Yet even now,” declares the LORD, “Return to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, weeping and mourning; and rend your heart and not your garments.” Now return to the LORD your God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness and relenting of evil. — Joel 2:12-13 (NASB1995) Return to Yahweh now, with all your heart, while there is still time. For the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel has said this, “In returning [to Me] and rest you shall be saved, in quietness and confident trust is your strength.” But you were not willing, (Isaiah 30:15 AMP) “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.” — Ezekiel 36:26-27 (NKJV)

Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God! Now I am deeply discouraged, but I will remember you… — Psalms 42:5-6 (NLT) Remember that God is your rock, and the Most High God their Redeemer (See Psalms 78:35). He is with you and He is for you. …joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the LORD their God. He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever. (Psalms 146:5-6 NLT) Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:5 NKJV) Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD. (Psalms 31:24 NKJV) “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” — Lamentations 3:24 (NKJV)
