Pray for All

“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.” —1 Timothy 2:1-2 (NLT)

The Word of God instructs us to pray for all people, not to criticize or complain about them. “The Lord does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.” (See 2 Peter 3:9) And the earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (See James 5:16 NLT) First Timothy 3-4 says: “Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.”

Grace, mercy, and peace [inner calm and spiritual well-being] from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. (See 1 Timothy 1:2 AMP)

Patient Endurance

“ So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. ” — Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT) Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. (Hebrews 10:23) Hebrews 10:37-38 (NLT)  says: “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.” (Hebrews 10:39 NLT) We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. Don't Drift

“So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.” — Hebrews 2:1 (NLT) Don’t drift away from the truth, God’s Word. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 NKJV) And never doubt, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
