Our Banner

He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. —Song of Solomon 2:4 (NKJV)

In Exodus 17:15 (NLT), Moses built an altar there and named it Yahweh-Nissi (which means “the LORD is my banner”). His banner over us is one of love and victory. God gives us victory over the world, our flesh and the devil. Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. (2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV) You have set up a banner for those who fear You [with awe-inspired reverence and submissive wonder—a banner to shield them from attack], a banner that may be displayed because of the truth. Selah. (Psalms 60:4 AMP) 

His banner over us is a banner of deliverance and salvation. In that day the heir to David’s throne will be a banner of salvation to all the world. The nations will rally to him, and the land where he lives will be a glorious place. (Isaiah 11:10 NLT)

Patient Endurance

“ So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. ” — Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT) Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. (Hebrews 10:23) Hebrews 10:37-38 (NLT)  says: “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.” (Hebrews 10:39 NLT) We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. Don't Drift

“So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.” — Hebrews 2:1 (NLT) Don’t drift away from the truth, God’s Word.
