Examine Your Heart

People may be right in their own eyes, but the LORD examines their heart. —Proverbs 21:2 (NLT)

“The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the LORD, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.” (Jeremiah 17:9-10 NLT) We may be able to fool people, but we can never fool our Heavenly Father. “The LORD’s light penetrates the human spirit, exposing every hidden motive.” (Proverbs 20:27) He examines our hearts and knows everything about us. (See Psalms 139:1) How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. (Psalms 19:12) Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. (Psalms 51:10)

And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. —Hebrews 10:21-22 (NLT)

Patient Endurance

“ So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. ” — Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT) Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. (Hebrews 10:23) Hebrews 10:37-38 (NLT)  says: “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.” (Hebrews 10:39 NLT) We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. Don't Drift

“So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.” — Hebrews 2:1 (NLT) Don’t drift away from the truth, God’s Word. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 NKJV) And never doubt, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. (See James 1:6) Be faithful to our heavenly Father, and His Son, Yeshua the Christ to the end.
