Stick with God!

I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD! —Psalm 27:13-14 (NKJV)

The Message Bible says: Stay with God! Take heart. Don’t quit. I’ll say it again: Stay with God (Psalm 27:14). Day and night I’ll stick with God; I’ve got a good thing going and I’m not letting go (Psalm 16:8 MSG). The only good and lasting thing we have is our unconditional love relationship with the LORD. Pursue a deeper, more intimate relationship with Him and you will always have the strength to face another day.

Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy.
