Commit Your Works
Commit your works to the LORD [submit and trust them to Him], and your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance]. —Proverbs 16:3 (AMP)
First, we need to have a plan and write it down. Where there is no vision, the people perish; (Proverbs 29:18a KJV). Habakkuk 2:2 says, “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that the one who reads it may run.” Then, if we want our plans to succeed, let us commit them to the LORD. A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], but the LORD directs his steps and establishes them. (Proverbs 16:9 AMP) Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails. (Proverbs 19:21 NIV)
Happy New Year! May God crown your year with His goodness, and your paths drip with abundance. (Psalm 65:11)
