He Restores
And then, after your brief suffering, the God of all loving grace, who has called you to share in his eternal glory in Christ, will personally and powerfully restore you and make you stronger than ever. Yes, he will set you firmly in place and build you up. —1 Peter 5:10 (TPT)
Psalm 23:3 (AMP), says the LORD refreshes and restores our soul (life); He leads us in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. In Jeremiah 30:17 (NKJV), He says: “I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds.” Joel 2:25 (NKJV) says He will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust…
Our heavenly Father is faithful. After you have suffered for a little while, He will bring restoration. Remember that our suffering will be brief (temporary), but our glory is eternal. It will last forever. The God of all grace will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. (See 1 Peter 5:10 NASB 1995)
For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, — 2 Corinthians 4:17 (NASB 1995)
