In the Morning

Image
It is good to give thanks to Yahweh and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness by night, — Psalms 92:1-2 (LSB) O Yahweh, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth, Who displays Your splendor above the heavens!  When I see Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have established; What is man that You remember him,
and the son of man that You care for him? (Psalms 8:1, 3-4 LSB) Praise Yah! Praise Yahweh, O my soul! I will praise Yahweh throughout my life; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. (Psalms 146:1-2 LSB) My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up. (Psalms 5:3 NKJV) “Let the dawning day bring me revelation of your tender, unfailing love. Give me light for my path and teach me, for I trust in you.” (Psalms 143:8 TPT) Sing praise to Yahweh, you His holy ones, and give thanks for the re...

No Complaining

Image
Soon the people began to complain about their hardship, and the LORD heard everything they said. Then the LORD’s anger blazed against them, and he sent a fire to rage among them, and he destroyed some of the people in the outskirts of the camp. — Numbers 11:1 (NLT) Complaining is unproductive, and it spreads negativity into the atmosphere. Instead of complaining, grumbling and murmuring about momentary afflictions and trials, bless the everlasting God, at all times. Let His praise continually flow from your mouth. (See Psalms 34:1) Hope continually, and praise Him yet more and more. (See Psalms 71:14) May the fruit of our lips, give thanks to His name forevermore. (See Hebrews 13:15) Keep trusting Yahweh to work everything together for good as you patiently endure troubles, hardships and calamities of every kind. Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, ...

Life & Peace

Image
A mind focused on the flesh is doomed to death, but a mind focused on the Spirit will find full life and complete peace. — Romans 8:6 (VOICE) May we be led by the Holy Spirit in our thoughts and actions. …for if you are living according to the [impulses of the] flesh, you are going to die. But if [you are living] by the [power of the Holy] Spirit you are habitually putting to death the sinful deeds of the body, you will [really] live forever. (Romans 8:13 AMP) “For no matter how hard they try, God finds no pleasure with those who are controlled by the flesh. But when the Spirit of Christ empowers your life, you are not dominated by the flesh but by the Spirit. And if you are not joined to the Spirit of the Anointed One, you are not of him.” (Romans 8:8-9 TPT) And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. (Romans 8:2 NLT)

Armed with Strength

Image
For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me. — Psalms 18:39 (NKJV) Psalms 27:1 says, the LORD is the strength of my life… You can be certain that God has armed you with strength for whatever battles you face today. For who is God, but Yahweh? And who is a rock, except our God, the God who girds me with strength and makes my way blameless? He makes my feet like hinds’ feet, and sets me upon my high places. (Psalms 18:31-33 LSB) The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God! (See Psalms 68:35 NKJV) So be strong in the Lord. Draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him. (See Ephesians 6:10 AMP) “Shine and make your joyful boast in him, you lovers of God. Let’s be happy and keep rejoicing no matter what. Seek more of his strength! Seek more of him! Let’s always be seeking the light of his face.” — Psalms 105:3-4 (TPT)

Yahweh Bless You

Image
Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘Thus you shall bless the sons of Israel. You shall say to them: Yahweh bless you, and keep you; Yahweh make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you; Yahweh lift up His face on you, and give you peace.’ — Numbers 6:22-26 (LSB) Yahweh sat enthroned over the flood; Indeed, Yahweh sits as King forever. Yahweh will give strength to His people; Yahweh will bless His people with peace. (Psalms 29:10-11 LSB) Our heavenly Father is rich in grace and has a heart to bless His people. And our greatest blessing is His Presence with us. Hebrews 11:6 (AMP) says: …whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him. Blessed [happy and sheltered by God’s favor] is everyone who fears the LORD [and worships Him with obedience], who walks in His ways and lives according to His commandments. (Psalms 128:1 AMP) May Yahweh give you increase, ...

Be Transformed

Image
And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. — Romans 12:2 (AMP) In order to recognize the lies of the devil, we need to renew our minds with the Word of God, which is truth. Once armed with truth… “We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One.” (2 Corinthians 10:5 TPT) We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy f...

Dare to Hope

Image
I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss. Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: — Lamentations 3:20-21 (NLT) The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” The LORD is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. (Lamentations 3:22-25 NLT) So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the LORD! (Psalms 31:24 NLT) No matter what troubles or calamities come your way, dare to hope in Yahweh, the Everlasting, Almighty God, the great “I AM.” And your hope will not be disappointed.

He is Mindful of Us

Image
But one has [solemnly] testified somewhere [in Scripture], saying, “What is man, that You are mindful of him, or the son of man, that You graciously care for him? — Hebrews 2:6 (AMP) Never listen to the lies of the enemy. Yahweh has not forgotten about you. He has not abandoned you. For He Himself has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless]…” (See Hebrews 13:5 AMP) Yahweh is so attentive to you, He knows how many hairs you have on your head. Take comfort in His Presence and be strengthened. He is with you and His light will guide you in the way you are to go. “Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you’re still with me.” — Psalms 139:17-18 (TPT)

Lift Up Your Eyes

Image
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from Yahweh, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to stumble; He who keeps you will not slumber. — Psalms 121:1-3 (LSB) Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. (Psalm 54:4 NASB1995) Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them. But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the LORD their God. (Psalms 146:3-5 NLT) So take comfort and be encouraged. We can confidently say, “The LORD is my Helper [in time of need], I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?” (See Hebrews 13:6 AMP) The LORD is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
and with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him. — Psalms 28:7...

Let Faith Blossom

Image
Don’t run from tests and hardships, brothers and sisters. As difficult as they are, you will ultimately find joy in them; if you embrace them, your faith will blossom under pressure and teach you true patience as you endure. And true patience brought on by endurance will equip you to complete the long journey and cross the finish line—mature, complete, and wanting nothing. — James 1:2-4 (VOICE) In the midst of every difficulty and challenge continue to fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith. (See 2 Timothy 4:7 NKJV) …thanks be to God, who keeps giving us the victory through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah! (1 Corinthians 15:57 TLV)

Don't Worry

Image
Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. — Philippians 4:6-7 (AMP) Don’t worry, nor be anxious. Instead, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, and cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. (See 1 Peter 5:6-7). In John 16:33 (VOICE), Yeshua, the Prince of Peace said: “I have told you these things so that you will be whole and at peace. In this world, you will be plagued with times of trouble, but you need not fear; I have triumphed over this corrupt world order.” Never let the enemy steal your peace. For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome ...

Our Generous God

Image
But the LORD God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden— except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.” — Genesis 2:16:17 (NLT) God told Adam they could freely eat of every tree, except one. However, the serpent got Eve to focus on the one thing they lacked, instead of the abundance that was freely given to them by God. (See Genesis 3:1-6) Yahweh is an extremely generous God. His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and virtue, (See 2 Peter 1:3). If it does not pertain to life, it is something that leads to death. Why pursue those things?  Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. (James 1:17 NASB1995) Our Heavenly Father is perfect and He never changes. We can abide in the loving, Father of ligh...

Our Hope & Help

Image
We put our hope in the LORD. He is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. Let your unfailing love surround us, LORD, for our hope is in you alone. — Psalms 33:20-22 (NLT) “Human strength and the weapons of man are false hopes for victory; they may seem mighty, but they will always disappoint.” (Psalms 33:17 TPT) Trust in Yahweh with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5 LSB) Every word of God proves true. He is true to his promises, his word can be trusted, and everything he does is reliable and right.” (See Proverbs 30:5 NLT & Psalms 33:20 TPT) “The Lord alone is our radiant hope and we trust in him with all our hearts. His wraparound presence will strengthen us.” (Psalms 33:20 TPT) From my distress I called upon Yah; Yah answered me and set me in a large place. Yahweh is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me? Yahweh is for me among those who help me; Therefore I will look in triumph on those w...

Live with Confidence

Image
“So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!” — Romans 8:38-39 (TPT) Consider the kind of extravagant love the Father has lavished on us—He calls us children of God! It’s true; we are His beloved children. And in the same way the world didn’t recognize Him, the world does not recognize us either. (1 John 3:1 VOICE) Whatever you are going through today, know that God’s love is greater and it never fails.

Seek His Face

Image
When You said, “Seek My face [in prayer, require My presence as your greatest need],” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I will seek [on the authority of Your word].” — Psalms 27:8 (AMP) Seek Yahweh while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to Yahweh,
and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. (Isaiah 55:6-7 LSB) In Jeremiah 29:13 (NASB1995), the LORD says: “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” So, set your heart to seek Yahweh because He is our greatest need. Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the LORD! Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore! (1 Chronicles 16:10-11 NKJV) …they who inquire of Yahweh shall not be in want of any good thing. (See Psalms 34:10 LSB) And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O Yahweh, have not forsaken tho...

Why Rejoice?

Image
This is the day which Yahweh has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalms 118:24 (LSB) We can rejoice in this day because Yahweh is with us, and with God ALL things are possible. (See Matthew 19:26) He will never leave us, nor forsake us. In Isaiah 43:2-3 (TPT), He says: “When you pass through the deep, stormy sea, you can count on me to be there with you. When you pass through raging rivers, you will not drown. When you walk through persecution like fiery flames, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you, for I am your Savior, Yahweh, your mighty God, the Holy One of Israel!” “ Do not yield to fear, for I am always near. Never turn your gaze from me, for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand .” — Isaiah 41:10 (TPT)   Amen!

Fix Your Eyes

Image
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. — Hebrews 12:2 (NASB1995) Let us look away from all that will distract us and focus our eyes on Yeshua. He is bigger than any challenge or difficulty you face. He is higher than any hurdle blocking your path. Pay attention to the One Who commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him? (See Luke 8:23-25) He gives sight to the blind, and opens the ears of the deaf. In Matthew 14:29-30, Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water toward Yeshua. But when he shifted his focus and saw the effects of the wind, he became frightened and began to sink. Instead of being fearful and letting the storms overtake you, put your faith in Yeshua. He is the real life preserver. He is the Son of God and Savior of the world. Let us hold fast our confession of faith and cling tenaciously to our absolute t...

Cease Striving

Image
“ Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. ” — Psalms 46:10 (LSB) When we are too busy doing our own thing, in our own way, to stop and spend time with our heavenly Father, we end up weary and worn out. Before we jump start our day, let us humble ourselves before the Lord and lay our concerns, requests and desires before the One Who has all our days written in His Book. Always seek His will. The closer we draw near to Him, the more likely we are to hear His still small voice, saying “this is the way.” He will empower us to overcome obstacles, climb mountains and withstand the storms of life. Abide in His Presence and be led by the Holy Spirit. “ He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace near the quiet brook of bliss. That’s where he restores and revives my life. He opens before me the right path and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring...

God is On Your Side

Image
“The very moment I call to you for a father’s help the tide of battle turns and my enemies flee. This one thing I know: God is on my side! I trust in the Lord. And I praise him! I trust in the Word of God. And I praise him!” — Psalms 56:9-10 (TPT) When you are afraid, put your trust in Yahweh. In God, whose word I praise, in God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid… (See Psalms 56:3-4 NASB1995) Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, which will not be shaken but will abide forever. (Psalms 125:1 LSB) Trust also in His Word. He watches over His word to perform it. Forever, His word is settled in heaven [standing firm and unchangeable]. (See Psalms 119:89 AMP) “What harm could man do to me? With God on my side, I will not be afraid of what comes. My heart overflows with praise to God and for his promises. I will always trust in him.” — Psalms 56:11 (TPT)

Don't Despair

Image
“So no wonder we don’t give up. For even though our outer person gradually wears out, our inner being is renewed every single day. We view our slight, short-lived troubles in the light of eternity. We see our difficulties as the substance that produces for us an eternal, weighty glory far beyond all comparison,” — 2 Corinthians 4:16-17 (TPT) Don't despair. Whatever troubles we experience in this life, they are light and momentary. They will eventually come to pass. “Pour out all your worries and stress upon God and leave them there, for He always tenderly cares for you.” (See 1 Peter 5:7 TPT) 7 Since God cares for you with deepest affection, let Him carry all your burdens and worries. (See 1 Peter 5:7 VOICE & AMP)

The King of Glory

Image
Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in! Who is this King of glory? Yahweh strong and mighty, Yahweh mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O gates, and lift yourselves up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in! Who is He, this King of glory? Yahweh of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah. — Psalms 24:7-10 (LSB) Open your heart to Yahweh and Yeshua the Messiah. Be filled with and led by His Holy Spirit. Open wide your heart and receive His unfailing love, His grace,  His mercy and His perfect peace. …you are a chosen family, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; (1 Peter 2:9 LSB) “ Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of Yahweh has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and dense gloom the peoples; But Yahweh will rise upon you, and Hi...

A Very Present Help

Image
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. — Psalms 46:1 (LSB) Yahweh is with us at all times, and He is always ready to help. Hallelujah! When you receive a bad report from the doctor, the great Physician is with you, and He is your Healer. When you suffer loss and tragedy, He is by your side to carry you through. When you don’t get that job or promotion, He opens another door that no one can shut. Let us rejoice and hold onto hope through the hard times, because our Help, the Mighty God is faithful. Pray at all times, continually seeking His wisdom, guidance, and strength. For the Eternal watches over the righteous, and His ears are attuned to their prayers. He is always listening. (Psalms 34:15 VOICE) The LORD of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress. Interlude — Psalms 46:7 (NLT)

Rise Up Close to God

Image
‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to Myself. — Exodus 19:4 (AMP) The continual call of Yahweh is for us to come to Him and stay close to Him, on a daily basis. The call of God in Christ Jesus is an upward call. (See Philippians 3:14) “Don’t you know? Haven’t you heard? The Eternal, the Everlasting God, the Creator of the whole world, never gets tired or weary. His wisdom is beyond understanding. God strengthens the weary and gives vitality to those worn down by age and care.” (Isaiah 40:28-29 VOICE)  Even youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, but those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired. (Isaiah 40:30-31 AMP) Entwine your heart with Yahweh and you will ex...

He Orders His Angels

Image
“See, I am sending an angel before you to protect you on your journey and lead you safely to the place I have prepared for you.” — Exodus 23:20 (NLT) Yahweh will lead us safely to the place He has prepared for us. He equips us, provides what we need and puts us in the right position at the right time, to fulfill His purpose and plan for us. However, we must follow His lead. Psalms 91:9-12 (NLT) says: If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. Bless Yahweh, you His angels, mighty in strength, who perform His word, obeying the voice of His word! Bless Yahweh, all you His hosts, you who serve Him, doing His will. — Psalms 103:20-21 (LSB)

Stay Calm

Image
As Pharaoh approached, the people of Israel looked up and panicked when they saw the Egyptians overtaking them. They cried out to the LORD… But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” — Exodus 14:10, 13-14 (NLT) Time and after time, when His people cried out to the LORD in their trouble, He brought them out of their distresses. In 2 Chronicles 20:15 (NKJV), the LORD said to His people: “Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” When the battle rages against you, don't panic, and have no fear for Yahweh is with you. He girds you with strength for the battle (See Psalms 18:39a NASB1995) And He is faithful to bring you through. You overcome because greater is He Who is in you than he who is in the world. (See 1 John 4:4) Even if the enemy is aggressively on your ...

Let Your Light Shine

Image
So Moses and Aaron said to all the people of Israel, “By evening you will realize it was the LORD who brought you out of the land of Egypt. In the morning you will see the glory of the LORD, because he has heard your complaints, which are against him, not against us. What have we done that you should complain about us?” — Exodus 16:6-7 (NLT) Whoever or whatever you are murmuring or complaining about, your complaint is against God. He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. (See Daniel 2:21 NKJV) The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all. (Psalms 103:19 NASB1995) Titus 3:2 (NKJV) says to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. Let us embrace the season we are in, and trust Yahweh to work it all together for good. Philippians 2:14-15 (AMP) instructs us to do everything without murmuring or question...

A Roundabout Way

Image
When Pharaoh finally let the people go, God did not lead them along the main road that runs through Philistine territory, even though that was the shortest route to the Promised Land. God said, “If the people are faced with a battle, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.” So God led them in a roundabout way through the wilderness toward the Red Sea. Thus the Israelites left Egypt like an army ready for battle. — Exodus 13:17-18 (NLT) When I'm driving, my husband and I rarely agree on the shortest or fastest route to our destination. But praise the LORD, on our journey through life, our Heavenly Father is our guide. Yahweh may not always lead you on the shortest route to your destination. However, don’t give in to the temptation to take the shortcut, against God's will. His protection and provision is on the path He has set before you. We should not follow someone else's path, if that is not the way the Holy Spirit is leading us. You are called according to His...

He Refreshes & Restores

Image
He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness
for His name’s sake. — Psalms 23:3 (AMP) Yahweh leads us in the paths of righteousness. He shows us the right way to go and the right attitude and actions. Our part is to be obedient and follow Him. Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. (1 John 2:17 NASB1995) So repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God—seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day]; (Acts 3:...

Fear God

Image
And Moses said to him, “As soon as I go out of the city, I will spread out my hands to Yahweh; the thunder will cease, and there will be hail no longer, that you may know that the earth is Yahweh’s. But as for you and your servants, I know that you do not yet fear Yahweh God.” — Exodus 9:29-30 (LSB) The [reverent] fear of the LORD [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] is the beginning and the preeminent part of knowledge (See Proverbs 1:7 AMP) “When I had nothing, desperate and defeated, I cried out to the Lord and he heard me, bringing his miracle-deliverance when I needed it most. The angel of Yahweh stooped down to listen as I prayed, encircling me, empowering me, and showing me how to escape. He will do this for everyone who fears God.” (Psalms 34:6-7 TPT)
