Let Your Light Shine

So Moses and Aaron said to all the people of Israel, “By evening you will realize it was the LORD who brought you out of the land of Egypt. In the morning you will see the glory of the LORD, because he has heard your complaints, which are against him, not against us. What have we done that you should complain about us?” —Exodus 16:6-7 (NLT)

Whoever or whatever you are murmuring or complaining about, your complaint is against God. He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. (See Daniel 2:21 NKJV) The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all. (Psalms 103:19 NASB1995) Titus 3:2 (NKJV) says to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.

Let us embrace the season we are in, and trust Yahweh to work it all together for good. Philippians 2:14-15 (AMP) instructs us to do everything without murmuring or questioning [the providence of God], so that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish in the midst of a [morally] crooked and [spiritually] perverted generation, among whom you are seen as bright lights... 

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, . —1 Timothy 2:1-3 (NLT)

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel. — Ezra 7:10 (NKJV) May we prepare our hearts and set our minds to diligently read and study the Word of God. Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, and who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart. Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! — Philippians 4:4 (AMP) James 1:2-4 (NLT) says: “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
