Let Your Light Shine

So Moses and Aaron said to all the people of Israel, “By evening you will realize it was the LORD who brought you out of the land of Egypt. In the morning you will see the glory of the LORD, because he has heard your complaints, which are against him, not against us. What have we done that you should complain about us?” Exodus 16:6-7 (NLT)

Whoever or whatever you are murmuring or complaining about, your complaint is against God. He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. (See Daniel 2:21 NKJV) The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all. (Psalms 103:19 NASB1995) Titus 3:2 (NKJV) says to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.

Let us embrace the season we are in, and trust Yahweh to work it all together for good. Philippians 2:14-15 (AMP) instructs us to do everything without murmuring or questioning [the providence of God], so that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish in the midst of a [morally] crooked and [spiritually] perverted generation, among whom you are seen as bright lights...

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, .1 Timothy 2:1-3 (NLT)
