Lift Up Your Eyes

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from Yahweh, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to stumble; He who keeps you will not slumber. —Psalms 121:1-3 (LSB)

Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. (Psalm 54:4 NASB1995) Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them. But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the LORD their God. (Psalms 146:3-5 NLT) So take comfort and be encouraged. We can confidently say, “The LORD is my Helper [in time of need], I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?” (See Hebrews 13:6 AMP)

The LORD is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, 
and with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him. —Psalms 28:7 (AMP)

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel. — Ezra 7:10 (NKJV) May we prepare our hearts and set our minds to diligently read and study the Word of God. Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, and who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
