The Potter & The Clay

But now, O Yahweh, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand.Isaiah 64:8 (LSB)

How foolish can you be? He is the Potter, and he is certainly greater than you, the clay!
Should the created thing say of the one who made it, “He didn’t make me”? “What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, ‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’ (See Isaiah 29:16 & 45:9 NLT) This is what the LORD says— the Holy One of Israel and your Creator: “Do you question what I do for my children? Do you give me orders about the work of my hands? I am the one who made the earth and created people to live on it. With my hands I stretched out the heavens. All the stars are at my command.” (Isaiah 45:11-12 NLT)

“Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” (See Hebrews 3:15 NKJV) May our hearts be soft and pliable in the hand of Yahweh. He will mold us and shape us according to His perfect plan and purpose. Stay on the Potter's wheel and yield to His will. Let us receive all He has for us, with humble and grateful hearts. O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker [in reverent praise and prayer]. (Psalms 95:6 AMP)
