Seek First

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”—Matthew 6:33-34 (NKJV)

Don’t worry about all the doom and gloom taking place in this world. Don’t let it distract you. First and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) God’s kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right…] (See Matthew 6:33 AMP). In John 16:33 (NKJV), Yeshua said: “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 5:4-5 NKJV)

Patient Endurance

Then you will receive all that he has promised. ” — Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT) Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. (Hebrews 10:23) Hebrews 10:37-38 (NLT)  says: “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction.
