Fix Your Gaze

So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.2 Corinthians 4:18 (NLT)

Let us look away from all that will distract us and focus our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith. For the joy that was set before Him, He endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (See Hebrews 12:2 AMP/NKJV)  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. (1 John 2:16NASB) May your eyes be continually toward the Lord.

To You I have raised my eyes, You who are enthroned in the heavens! Psalm 123:1 (NASB)
