He is Good & Faithful
Joseph was still in his palace when Judah and his brothers arrived, and they fell to the ground before him. —Genesis 44:14 (NLT)
Joseph was in “his” palace. Only a great and mighty God can take someone from a pit, to a prison, and then to a palace. Hallelujah! God sent him ahead of his family to preserve their lives. (See Genesis 45:5) Joseph was in a position to give his father and brothers the very best land in Egypt. (See Genesis 45:18) Don’t despair when others do you wrong. For the LORD knows the plans He has for you. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 NLT) He causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (See Romans 8:28 NLT) Our great God is a God of restoration. He is able to restore what the enemy has stolen, and give you twice as much, like He did with Job. (See Job 42:10) He is able to turn your mourning into joy and make you rejoice after your sorrow. (See Jeremiah 31:13 AMP) Amen.
Yahweh is faithful. Just as God showed Joseph in a dream, in Genesis 37:5-7, his brothers fell to the ground before him.
