Meditate & Obey

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. —Joshua 1:8 (NKJV)

In order to have good success we need to meditate in the Word of God and obey what is written in it. The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit (See Ephesians 6:17), our weapon against the enemy. In order to use it effectively, let us meditate in it, treasure it in our hearts, that we may not sin against Yahweh. (See Psalms 119:11)

Joshua instructed the Israelites: “So be very careful to follow everything Moses wrote in the Book of Instruction. Do not deviate from it, turning either to the right or to the left. Rather, cling tightly to the LORD your God as you have done until now.” (Joshua 23:6, 8 NLT) Let us not deviate from the Holy Scriptures, nor the will of God. No compromise with the world or the devil. Cling to Yahweh.

Don't Drift

“So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.” — Hebrews 2:1 (NLT) Don’t drift away from the truth, God’s Word. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Our Maker
