Wait Patiently
Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, “Come, make us gods that shall go before us…” —Exodus 32:1 (NKJV)
When Moses was delayed in coming down from the mountain, the children of Israel quickly turned away from following the LORD. (Exodus 32:8). When things don’t happen according to your timetable, remember Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV): To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. The LORD appoints a set time for events to occur and His perfect timing brings everything together in wonderful ways at just the right time. Let us wait patiently and continually look to the LORD, as our guide.
Wait on the LORD, and keep His way, and He shall exalt you to inherit the land; (Psalm 37:34 NKJV)
