Go & Tell

And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him. However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled. Mark 5:18-20 (NKJV)

Before his encounter with Yeshua, this man was possessed by an evil spirit. He dwelt among the tombs and whenever he was put into chains and shackles, he snapped the chains from his wrists and smashed the shackles. Day and night he wandered among the burial caves and in the hills, howling and cutting himself with sharp stones. (See Mark 5:1-5) After time with Yeshua, the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, was sitting and clothed and in his right mind… (See Mark 5:15)

Yeshua, the Son of the Most High God, brings healing and wholeness into our lives. We are forever changed in His Presence. May we too, go and tell others what great things the Lord has done for us and how He has had compassion on us.
