The Lord’s Kindness

“How kind the Lord is!” she exclaimed. “He has taken away my disgrace of having no children.”  —Luke 1:25 (NLT)

Our heavenly Father takes away all our disgrace. The blood of Jesus Christ, His Son cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7). The LORD has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.The LORD is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. (Psalm 103:12-13 NLT) “Fear not; you will no longer live in shame. Don’t be afraid; there is no more disgrace for you. (Isaiah 54:4a NLT) He will give you a crown of beauty for ashes, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. (Isaiah 61:3,7) This is the kindness of our Lord! Let us praise God for His abundant lovingkindness.

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel. — Ezra 7:10 (NKJV) May we prepare our hearts and set our minds to diligently read and study the Word of God. Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, and who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart. Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! — Philippians 4:4 (AMP) James 1:2-4 (NLT) says: “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
