What Do You Desire?
Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever. —Psalms 73:25-26 (NLT)
It is good for us to draw near to God; Let us put our trust in the Lord GOD, and declare all of His works. (See Psalms 73:28 NKJV) As for God, His way is blameless; The word of Yahweh is tried; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. For who is God, but Yahweh? And who is a rock, except our God, the God who girds me with strength and makes my way blameless? (Psalms 18:30-32 LSB) May we desire more of His Presence above anything this world has to offer.
The LORD is righteous in everything he does; he is filled with kindness. The LORD is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth. He grants the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them. —Psalms 145:17-19 (NLT)
