Fear Not

“For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, and what I dreaded has happened to me.”Job 3:25 (NKJV)

In Job 1:8, the LORD said there was none on the earth like His servant Job. He described him as a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil. God had provided this blessed, safe and prosperous life for Job, but Job still lived with fear and dread. When we fear, we allow the enemy to come and steal, kill and destroy what our heavenly Father has provided for us — peace, love, joy, victory, etc.

Let us remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (See 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV) There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (1 John 4:18 NKJV) “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us].” (Romans 8:37 AMP)
