Children of God

Everyone who believes [with a deep, abiding trust in the fact] that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed) is born of God [that is, reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose], and everyone who loves the Father also loves the child born of Him. —1 John 5:1 (AMP)

See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. (1 John 3:1 NLT) We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one. (1 John 5:19 NLT) Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. (1 John 2:15 NLT)

“Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts.” —1 John 5:21 (NLT)

Don't Drift
