Our Refuge

The LORD also will be a refuge and a stronghold for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble; And those who know Your name [who have experienced Your precious mercy] will put their confident trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not abandoned those who seek You. —Psalms 9:9-10 (AMP)

On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah. (Psalms 62:7-8 NASB1995) “Yahweh is good, a strong defense in the day of distress, and He knows those who take refuge in Him.” (Nahum 1:7 LSB) He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. (Psalms 91:4 NASB1995)

Patient Endurance

(Hebrews 10:23) Hebrews 10:37-38 (NLT)  says: “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.” (Hebrews 10:39 NLT) We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need.
