Called, Chosen & Faithful

“These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.” —Revelation 17:14 (NASB1995)

First Peter 2:9 (NASB1995) says we have been called out of darkness into His marvelous light. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; (1 Peter 1:14-15) We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. (See 1 Peter 2:9 NKJV) Ephesians 1:4 (NASB1995) says, God chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. If we are with Yeshua, the Lamb of God, we are the called and chosen. Let us also be faithful to the King of kings and our heavenly Father.

May we persevere through the troubles, trials and temptations, knowing that after we have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish us. (See 1 Peter 5:10 NASB1995)
