Abiding Victory

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] —John 16:33 (AMP)

Yeshua told us that in this world there would be tribulation. However, we can remain in perfect peace because He has overcome the world. Yeshua is Immanuel, “God with us.” (See Matthew 1:123) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. Yeshua came that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly. (See John 10:10) No matter what happens, we can have perfect peace knowing that God will work all things together for good (See Romans 8:28), and in King Yeshua, our Savior, we have already gained the victory.

Don't Drift
