God With Us
No matter what we go through in this life, we can be confident that our mighty God is always with us. In Matthew 28:20, Immanuel reminds His disciples: “…and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” In Hebrews 13:5, He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,”
In His Presence we have unshakeable joy and perfect peace. We can be encouraged and comforted because in His Presence, is His power and strength for us to overcome the hardships and difficulties we face on earth. In Isaiah 41:10 He tells His people, ’Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” —Isaiah 43:2 (NLT)
