Do Not Lose Heart
Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. —2 Corinthians 4:16 (NASB1995)
May we be glad that our inner man is breathing in new life every day. You see, the short-lived pains of this life are creating for us an eternal glory that does not compare to anything we know here. So do not set your sights on the things you can see with your eyes. All of that is fleeting; it will eventually fade away. Instead, focus on the things we cannot see, which live on and on. (See 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 VOICE)
So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. —2 Corinthians 3:18 (NLT)
