Live by Faith

“For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay. But My righteous one shall live by faith; And if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the preserving of the soul. —Hebrews 10:37-39 (NASB1995)

Hebrews 11:6 says: without faith it is impossible to please God. Do not doubt or waver in unbelief concerning the promise of God, but grow strong in faith, and give glory to God. (like Abraham in Romans 4:20) Let us walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]— (See 2 Corinthians 5:7 AMP)  If we [claim to] live by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also walk by the Spirit [with personal integrity, godly character, and moral courage—our conduct empowered by the Holy Spirit]. (Galatians 5:25 AMP) As believers, the Holy Spirit dwells in us and empowers us to overcome temptation and to do all that God has called us to do. (See 1 Thessalonians 4:8 & Philippians 4:13 AMP) Stand firm in your faith in God. Be strong and courageous.

“But we are certainly not those who are held back by fear and perish; we are among those who have faith and experience true life!” —Hebrews 10:39 (TPT)

Prepare Your Heart

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel. — Ezra 7:10 (NKJV) May we prepare our hearts and set our minds to diligently read and study the Word of God. Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, and who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart. Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! — Philippians 4:4 (AMP) James 1:2-4 (NLT) says: “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
