“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...” —Hosea 4:6 (NASB1995)

In Hosea 4:6 (NLT) the LORD says: “My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me…” Know that the LORD is good (See Psalms 34:8) Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek Him. (See Hebrews 11:6 NLT) Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. (Hebrews 10:35-36 NASB1995)

Know that because God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (See John 3:16) Yeshua is the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. The sheep follow him because they know his voice. (See John 10:11 & 10:4) We need to know the voice of our Shepherd, so we can follow Him. May we know Him and personally experience the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that we may be filled up to all the fullness of God. (See Ephesians 3:19)

Prepare Your Heart

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel. — Ezra 7:10 (NKJV) May we prepare our hearts and set our minds to diligently read and study the Word of God. Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, and who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart. Rejoice!

Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! — Philippians 4:4 (AMP) James 1:2-4 (NLT) says: “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
