He has a Plan

And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. —Romans 8:28 (AMP)

One thing this verse tells us, is that Yahweh is deeply concerned about us. He watches over us continually to lead us and guide us along on the path that leads to life. He didn’t create us to abandon us. He is attentively involved in the details of our lives. The second take away from this verse is that our heavenly Father has a plan. And Jeremiah 29:11 says, His plan for us is for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope. And third, we need to love Yahweh, and put Him first in all we do; Honor Him in our speech and our behavior. We also need to be called according to His plan and purpose, instead of running our own agenda, and we can be confident that He will cause all things to work together for good.

Prepare Your Heart

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel. — Ezra 7:10 (NKJV) May we prepare our hearts and set our minds to diligently read and study the Word of God. Then, apply it to our daily lives by actually doing what it says. Great peace have those who love the law of the LORD, and nothing causes them to stumble. (See Psalms 119:165 NKJV) As pressure and stress bear down on you, find joy in His commands. (See Psalms 119:143 NLT) Psalms 78:8 (NKJV) says, its a stubborn and rebellious generation, that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. Rejoice!

Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! — Philippians 4:4 (AMP) James 1:2-4 (NLT) says: “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” Our joy is not to be based on the fluctuating circumstances of our lives. We experience fullness of joy in the Presence of Yahweh and He is always with us. No matter what season of life you are going through, have continual and contagious joy. Let your joy overflow and spill out onto those around you.
