Realize This

But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these. —2 Timothy 3:1-5 (NASB)

The Holy Scriptures forewarned us that in the last days difficult times would come. A glimpse of any current news report and we can see signs that the last days are indeed upon us. In Matthew 24:12 (NKJV), Yeshua says: “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” I implore you, my beloved brethren, that in the midst of challenging and chaotic times, you do not let your love grow cold. May we let the light of God's love shine brightly through us, so others may have hope and be drawn to our heavenly Father, and Yeshua, our Savior. Our hope is not in a political party, a religion, nor worldly wealth, but in a relationship with Yeshua, the Messiah. No matter how dark this world becomes, the light of the Kingdom of God shines forever and His love never fails.
