He Will Be With You

Image
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” — Isaiah 43:2 (NLT)   Even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, fear no evil because Yahweh is with you. (See Psalms 23:4) In His mighty Presence is His great power. He is able to bring us through the flood and the fiery trials. He is able to turn our darkness into light and make the crooked places straight. He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (See Hebrews 13:5-6 NKJV) “Unless the LORD had helped me, I would soon have settled in the silence of the grave. I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O LORD, supported me.” (Psalms 94:17-18 NLT)  “Whenever my busy thoughts were out of control, the soothing comfort of...

Always Ready

Image
“God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! Interlude” — Psalms 46:1-3 (NLT) Not only is Yahweh able, He is also ready and willing to help us. For I know that the LORD is great and that our Lord is above all gods. (Psalms 135:5 NASB1995) I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from Yahweh, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to stumble; He who keeps you will not slumber. (Psalms 121:1-3 LSB) “He does what he pleases with unlimited power and authority, extending his greatness throughout the entire universe!” (Psalms 135:6 TPT) “The LORD of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress. Interlude” (Psalms 46:7 NLT) He is faithful to deliver us from our troubles, each and every one. Praise Yah, for Yahweh is good; S...

He Teaches Us

Image
This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. Oh, that you had listened to my commands! Then you would have had peace flowing like a gentle river and righteousness rolling over you like waves in the sea.” — Isaiah 48:17-18 (NLT) May we turn a deaf ear to the voices of this world and listen to the still small voice of Yahweh. He teaches us what is good for us. For the LORD is God, and he created the heavens and earth and put everything in place. He made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos. “I am the LORD,” he says, “and there is no other.” (Isaiah 45:18 NLT) He speaks only what is true and declares only what is right. He will never go back on His word. (See Isaiah 45:19 & 23) “ Remember the things I have done in the past. For I alone am God! I am God, and there is none like me. Only I can tell you the future before it even happen...

Find New Strength

Image
“Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” — Isaiah 40:30-31 (NLT) Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives strength to the weary, and to the one who lacks might He increases power. (Isaiah 40:28-29 NASB1995) Yahweh is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him. (Psalms 28:7 LSB) Yahweh will give strength to His people; Yahweh will bless His people with peace. (Psalms 29:11 LSB) Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD. (Psalms 31:24 NKJV)

He is the True GOD

Image
“The true God is the Creator of all things. He is the owner and Lord of the heavenly realm and the earthly realm, and he doesn’t live in man-made temples. He supplies life and breath and all things to every living being. He doesn’t lack a thing that we mortals could supply for him, for he has all things and everything he needs.” — Acts 17:24-25 (TPT) Yahweh is the only true God. He is the faithful God and the everlasting King. The LORD is our Source, Who gives life and breath to every person and everything. He opens His hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing. (See Psalms 145:16) From one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries. His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us. (Acts 17:26-27 NLT) Yahweh is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. ...

He Gives Grace & Glory

Image
For Yahweh God is a sun and shield; Yahweh gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk blamelessly. — Psalms 84:11 (LSB) ...God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), (Ephesians 2:4-5 NASB1995). For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; (Ephesians 2:8 NASB1995). Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! “Sing to the LORD, all you godly ones! Praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” (Psalms 30:4-5 NLT) Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. (Isaiah 60:1) He will turn your mourning into joyful dancing. He will take away your clothes of mourning and clothe you with joy. Sing praises to Him and...

Rock of Refuge

Image
In You, O LORD, I have placed my trust and taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed;
In Your righteousness rescue me. Incline Your ear to me, deliver me quickly; Be my rock of refuge, and a strong fortress to save me. Yes, You are my rock and my fortress; For Your name’s sake You will lead me and guide me. — Psalms 31:1-3 (AMP) In whom have you placed your trust? Thus says the LORD, “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the LORD.” “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD.” (Jeremiah 17:5 & 7 NKJV) Those who trust in Yahweh will not be disappointed. “…the LORD has been my defense, and my God the rock of my refuge.” (Psalms 94:22 NKJV) He has been a shelter and a refuge for me, a strong tower against the enemy. (See Psalms 61:3 AMP) He is your refuge from the storms of life. Trust in the LORD and rely on Him with unwavering confidence, in times of trouble. He will lead you and guide you thro...

Return to Him

Image
Lord Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel, says: “Come back to me! By returning and resting in me you will be saved. In quietness and trust you will be made strong. But you refused.” — Isaiah 30:15 (TPT) The LORD is a faithful God. He longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him. (See Isaiah 30:18 NASB1995) Yahweh desires for us to come to Him so He can show us His love and compassion. Isaiah 30:19 (NLT) says: “He will be gracious if you ask for help. He will surely respond to the sound of your cries.” Even though the Lord may allow you to go through a season of hardship and difficulty, he himself will be there with you. He will not hide himself from you, for your eyes will constantly see him as your Teacher. When you turn to the right or turn to the left, you will hear his voice behind you to guide you, saying, “This is the right path; follow it.” (Isaiah 30:20-21 TPT)

Truly Honor Him

Image
“For my people are determined to desert me. They call me the Most High, but they don’t truly honor me.” — Hosea 11:7 (NLT) Yahweh is not interested in lip service. Serve Him with a whole heart and a delighted soul; for Yahweh searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever. (See 1 Chronicles 28:9 LSB) “Even Yahweh, the God of hosts, Yahweh is His name of remembrance. Therefore, return to your God, keep lovingkindness and justice, and hope in your God continually.” (Hosea 12:5-6 LSB)  “…Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.” (See Hosea 10:12 NLT)

Press On

Image
“Hear the word of the LORD, O people of Israel! The LORD has brought charges against you, saying: “There is no faithfulness, no kindness, no knowledge of God in your land. You make vows and break them; you kill and steal and commit adultery. There is violence everywhere— one murder after another.” — Hosea 4:1-2 (NLT) In Hosea 4:6, the LORD says: “My people are being destroyed because they don’t know Me.” Oh, that we might know the LORD! Let us press on to know him. He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring. (Hosea 6:3 NLT) Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. (James 4:8) When you call upon Him, He will answer. In the midst of hardships and troubles, press on, knowing that Yahweh is with you. He is a good and faithful God. May we be faithful to Him.

He Forgives

Image
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. — 1 John 1:8-10 (NKJV) “I know that you delight to set your truth deep in my spirit. So come into the hidden places of my heart and teach me wisdom. Keep creating in me a clean heart. Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires, ready to please you.” (Psalms 51:6, 10 TPT) “Let my passion for life be restored, tasting joy in every breakthrough you bring to me. Hold me close to you with a willing spirit that obeys whatever you say.” (Psalms 51:12 TPT) “For the source of your pleasure is not in my performance or the sacrifices I might offer to you. The fountain of your pleasure is found in the sacrifice of my shattered heart before you. You will not despise my tenderness as I bow down humbly at your feet.” (Psalms ...

Trust in the LORD Always

Image
“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD GOD is the eternal Rock.” — Isaiah 26:3-4 (NLT) Who will the LORD keep in perfect peace? ALL who trust in Him. Trust confidently in YAH. When should we trust God? Always , at all times and in every season. Isaiah 26:8 (NLT) says, we show our trust in Him by obeying His laws. Lean entirely on Him and know that you are sustained by Him alone. When we trust Yahweh, He is the first One we run to, in times of trouble. We don’t go to Him as a last resort. When we trust in the LORD, our minds are not consumed by the challenges that confront us. Instead, our thoughts are focused on Yahweh, His Presence with us, His goodness, His faithfulness, etc. He is a mighty, mighty God, and nothing is too difficult for Him. He will keep us in perfect and constant peace as our thoughts stay focused on Him. “Yes, trust in the Lord YAHWEH forever and ever! For Yah, the Lord God,...

Feast on His Faithfulness

Image
“Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness. Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh, and he will give you what you desire the most.” — Psalms 37:3-4 (TPT) Believe the promises of God with all your heart. “For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.” (2 Corinthians 1:20 NLT) He will show you the path of life; In His presence is fullness of joy; At His right hand are pleasures forevermore. (See Psalms 16:11 NKJV) Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. (Psalms 105:4 AMP) Great is His faithfulness!

Invite Him In

Image
Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah — Psalms 24:7-10 (NKJV) In Revelation 3:20 (NKJV) Yeshua says: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” His call is to anyone and everyone. Do you hear His voice? Respond to His call by opening the door of your heart and inviting Him to come in. He will not force His way in. Set your affections on Him and develop a deep and intimate relationship with our Savior and Redeemer, the King of kings and Lord of lords. He is Immanuel (God with us). (See Isaiah 7:14 AMP)

He Delights in Our Prosperity

Image
Let them shout for joy and rejoice, who favor my vindication; And let them say continually, “The LORD be magnified, Who delights in the prosperity of His servant.” — Psalms 35:27 (NASB1995) Prosperity is a state of flourishing and thriving (experiencing good success) in all areas of life. Yahweh has pleasure in the prosperity of His people. Proverbs 13:21 (NASB1995) says: Adversity pursues sinners, but the righteous will be rewarded with prosperity. Psalms 37:11 says, the humble will inherit the land and will delight themselves in abundant prosperity. Deuteronomy 30:15 (NLT) says: “Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster.” Every day we get to make a decision to trust in and follow Yahweh. When we don’t choose Him, we are headed for disaster, destruction and death. Choose life in order that you may live! Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way he should choose. His soul will abide in prosperity, and h...

Look to The LORD

Image
“As for me, I look to the LORD for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me. Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.” — Micah 7:7-8 (NLT) Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD our God, until He has mercy on us. (Psalms 123:2 NKJV) Even when you fall, keep looking to Yahweh, and you will rise again. Who is a God like Yahweh, who pardons iniquity and passes over the rebellious acts of the remnant of His possession? He will not stay angry with His people forever, because He delights in showing unfailing love. (See Micah 7:18) His anger is for a moment, but His favor is for a lifetime; (See Psalms 30:5a). The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine. (Isaiah 9:2 NLT) Proclaim the prais...

Drink Deeply

Image
In that day you will sing: “I will praise you, O LORD! You were angry with me, but not any more. Now you comfort me. See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The LORD God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.” With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation! — Isaiah 12:1-3 (NLT) In John 7:37-38 (NASB1995), Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’”  The invitation to come is for all. Come and drink. With joy you will draw water
from the wells of salvation. (See Isaiah 12:3 NKJV) Drink deeply and your cup will be filled to overflowing. And in that day you will say, “Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name [in prayer].
Make His deeds known among the peoples [of the earth]; Proclaim [to them] that His name is exalted!” Sing praises to the LORD, for He has done excellent an...

Feast on The Word

Image
“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord GOD, “ that I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD. They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD, but shall not find it.” — Amos 8:11-12 (NKJV) Feast on the Word of God daily, while it is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. (See Roman 10:8). Treasure His Word in your heart, that you may not sin against Him. (See Psalms 119:11) The Word of God is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. (See Psalms 119:105) The Holy Scriptures show us the way to go. How sweet are Your words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! (Psalms 119:103 NASB1995) I rise early, before the sun is up; I cry out for help and put my hope in your words. I rejoice in your word like one who discovers a great treasure. (Psalms 119:147 & 162  NLT)

He Freely Gives

Image
“Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights, who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change.” — James (Jacob) 1:17 (TPT) Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness… (2 Peter 1:2-3 NKJV) He gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry. The LORD gives freedom to the prisoners. (See Psalms 146:7)  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the [Holy] Spirit who is from God, so that we may know and understand the [wonderful] things freely given to us by God. (1 Corinthians 2:12 AMP) “For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give.” (Romans 8:32 TPT) As we have freely received the love...

A Warning

Image
The LORD has given me a strong warning not to think like everyone else does. He said, “Don’t call everything a conspiracy, like they do, and don’t live in dread of what frightens them. Make the LORD of Heaven’s Armies holy in your life. He is the one you should fear. He is the one who should make you tremble.”  — Isaiah 8:11-13 (NLT) Children of God are not to think like people in the world think. Romans 12:2 (NASB1995) says: do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight! (Isaiah 5:20-21 NASB1995) “Look to God’s instructions and teachings! People who contradict his word are completely in the dark.” (Isaiah 8:20 NLT) T...

Troubles of ANY Kind

Image
Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. — James1:2-4 (NLT) I appreciate that the Word says when troubles of ANY kind come our way, we can consider it an opportunity for great joy. Not just a little joy, but GREAT joy. Amen. And hallelujah! It may not sound like an easy thing to do, but remember: we can do all things [which He has called us to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers us [to fulfill His purpose—we are self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; we are ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses us with inner strength and confident peace.] (See Philippians 4:13 AMP) In Christ, we can endure the various troubles and trials, whether they be physical, financial, spiritual, relationship or job r...

Do Not Forget

Image
Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, and all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name. Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget any of His benefits; — Psalms 103:1-2 (AMP) Bless Yahweh Who forgives all your sins, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you [lavishly] with lovingkindness and tender mercy; Who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the [soaring] eagle. (See Psalms 103:3-5 AMP) For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear and worship Him [with awe-filled respect and deepest reverence]. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalms 103:11-12 AMP)  The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace. (Psalms 29:11 NLT) “He is faithful to all those who follow His ways and keep His word.” (See Psalms 103:18 TPT) In Psalms 32:8 (NLT), t...

No Escape

Image
The LORD gave this message to Jonah son of Amittai: “Get up and go to the great city of Nineveh. Announce my judgment against it because I have seen how wicked its people are.” But Jonah got up and went in the opposite direction to get away from the LORD. He went down to the port of Joppa, where he found a ship leaving for Tarshish. He bought a ticket and went on board, hoping to escape from the LORD by sailing to Tarshish. — Jonah 1:1-3 (NLT) Jonah decided to go in the opposite direction from where the LORD called him. We can run, but we can never hide from Yahweh. The LORD hurled a powerful wind over the sea, causing a violent storm that threatened to break the ship apart. (See Jonah 1:4) After the sailors threw Jonah overboard, the LORD had arranged for a great fish to swallow Jonah, and he prayed to the LORD from inside the fish. (See Jonah 1:17 & 2:1) Yahweh heard his prayer and the LORD ordered the fish to spit Jonah out onto the beach.  Jonah 3:3 says: This time Jonah o...

Surrender Your Anxiety

Image
“Surrender your anxiety. Be still and realize that I am God. I am God above all the nations, and I am exalted throughout the whole earth.” — Psalms 46:10 (TPT) Cease striving and recognize that Yahweh is the Most High God, Who rules and reigns over all. Praise and honor Him who lives forever. For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation. (See Daniel 4:34) The LORD is supreme over all the earth; He is exalted far above all gods. (See Psalms 97:9 NLT) We are His children and He watches over us. He is our hiding place; He shall preserve us from trouble; He shall surround us with songs of deliverance. Selah (See Psalms 32:7 NKJV) Surrender your anxiety and abide in His peace.

Cast ALL Your Cares

Image
“casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].” — 1 Peter 5:7 (AMP) Before we cast our cares, we need to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, and acknowledge that He is willing and more capable to take care of our concerns than we are. First Peter 5:6 (AMP) says to “set aside self-righteous pride.” Put your trust in El Elyon, the God Most High. He is higher than any mountain that stands before you, and greater than any challenge that comes against you. Nothing is too difficult for our great and mighty God. “Cast your burden on the LORD [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail).” (Psalms 55:22 AMP) “If you bow low in God’s awesome presence, he will eventually exalt you as you leave the timing in his hands.” (1 Peter 5:6 TPT) “For I am the LORD your God, who...

Seek the LORD

Image
Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; And to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. — Isaiah 55:6-7 (NKJV) People in this world seek many things: love, fame, fortune, power, etc. However, when we abide in Yahweh, we have all that we need. Call upon Him while He is near. If you truly seek Him, He will be found by you. Let us seek Almighty God, and His will and walk in His ways, all of our days. In His presence is fullness of joy; At His right hand are pleasures forevermore. (See Psalms 16:11) “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord GOD, “That I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD. They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD, but shall not find it. (Amos 8:11-12 NKJV)

Continue to Follow

Image
“And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow do wn into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.”  — Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT) As we have received Messiah Yeshua as Lord, let us continue to walk in union with Him [reflecting His character in the things we do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin], (See Colossians 2:6 TLV & AMP). “What delight comes to the one who follows God’s ways! He won’t walk in step with the wicked, nor share the sinner’s way, nor be found sitting in the scorner’s seat. His passion is to remain true to the Word of “I AM,” meditating day and night on the true revelation of light. He will be standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God’s design, deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season of life. He is never dry, never fainting, ever blessed, ever ...

“It Is Well”

Image
When he had taken him and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died. And she went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, shut the door upon him, and went out. Then she called to her husband, and said, “Please send me one of the young men and one of the donkeys, that I may run to the man of God and come back.” So he said, “Why are you going to him today? It is neither the New Moon nor the Sabbath.” And she said, “It is well.” — 2 Kings 4:20-23 (NLT) The Shunammite woman walked and spoke by faith, and not by sight. Her son had just died in her lap, but she knew that was not the end of the story. Instead of speaking what she saw with her eyes, she told her husband, “it is well.” She quickly went to the man of God. In 2 Kings 4:26, she made the same reply to Gehazi, the man of God’s servant: “It is well.” She insisted that Elisha return to her house. When Elisha arrived, the child was indeed dead, lying there on the prophet’s bed. He went in alone and ...

Sing His Praises

Image
When he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the LORD and those who praised Him in holy attire, as they went out before the army and said, “Give thanks to the LORD, for His lovingkindness is everlasting.” — 2 Chronicles 20:21 (NASB1995)  In 2 Chronicles 20:17 (NLT), Jahaziel told the people of Judah and Jerusalem: “…you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the LORD’s victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the LORD is with you!” Early the next morning the army of Judah went out. King Jehoshaphat appointed the singers to walk ahead of the army of Judah. When they began singing and praising, the LORD set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; so they were struck down [in defeat]. (2 Chronicles 20:22 AMP) The Word of the LORD was fulfilled. When you are being confronted by the enemy, take yo...
