Come, Listen & Eat
“Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy grain and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost [simply accept it as a gift from God]. “Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight in abundance. —Isaiah 55:1-2 (AMP)
In Isaiah 55:3 (TPT) Yahweh says: “Pay attention and come closer to me, and hear, that your total being may flourish. I will enter into an everlasting covenant with you, and I will show you the same faithful love that I showed David.” The invitation to come is to everyone who thirsts. Money is not a requirement to come. Yahweh gives freely. He opens His hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds. (See Psalms 145:16-17 NASB1995) Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! (Psalms 34:8 NLT)
Come closer and listen carefully to our Heavenly Father. May we be filled with what is good and nourishing to our souls. ...give thanks to Yahweh for His lovingkindness, and for His wondrous deeds to the sons of men! For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, and the hungry soul He has filled with what is good. (See Psalms 107:8-9 LSB)
