Cast ALL Your Cares

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time, casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. —1 Peter 5:6-7 (AMP)

In order for the peace of God to rule in our heads and our hearts we must humble ourselves and acknowledge that we are under the mighty hand of God. He has the whole world in His hand and nothing is too difficult for Him. His purpose will prevail. (See Proverbs 19:21 NLT) Cast all your cares, worries and concerns on Him and trust Almighty God, that His plans are good and His timing is always perfect.

Patient Endurance

But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction.
