Don't Depart

But I have this [charge] against you, that you have left your first love [you have lost the depth of love that you first had for Me]. —Revelation 2:4 (AMP)

May we never be like the believers in the church of Ephesus, and depart from our first love. Let us draw closer to Him each and every day. May our love for Him run deep and long. Never draw back. Remember the most important commandment: “...The LORD our God is the one and only LORD. And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.” (See Mark 12:29-30 NLT)

Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; All Your waves and billows have gone over me. The LORD will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me—a prayer to the God of my life. —Psalms 42:7-8 (NKJV)

Patient Endurance

But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction.
