Dwell in the High & Holy Place

The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this:
“I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. —Isaiah 57:15 (NLT)

God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. (See James 4:6) Let us humble ourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt us, in due time. (See James 4:10 & 1 Peter 5:6) May we dwell in the high and holy place, in the Presence of Yahweh. For His thoughts are not our thoughts, nor are our ways His ways, for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. (See Isaiah 55:8-9) We shall be holy, for the LORD our God is holy. Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. (Hebrews 12:14 NKJV)

Patient Endurance

“ So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. ” — Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT) Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. (Hebrews 10:23) Hebrews 10:37-38 (NLT)  says: “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.” (Hebrews 10:39 NLT) We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need.
