Peace of Mind

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” —John 14:27 (NLT)

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. (James 1:17 NLT) And the greatest gift of all is King Yeshua, Prince of Peace, our Savior and Redeemer. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (John 3:17 NKJV) He came that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly. (See John 10:10) In John 16:33 (NKJV), Yeshua said: “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” We are able to overcome this world, because He has already gained the victory for us. 

May the perfect peace of Christ calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge. (See John 14:27 AMP)

Don't Drift

“So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.” — Hebrews 2:1 (NLT) Don’t drift away from the truth, God’s Word. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 NKJV) And never doubt, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. Patient Endurance

“ So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. ” — Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT) Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. (Hebrews 10:23) Hebrews 10:37-38 (NLT)  says: “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay. And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.” But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction.
